• evaluation of external suppliers;
• checking the physical-chemical characteristics of the steels inside the metallurgic laboratory;
• periodical checking of measuring instruments and equipment carried out by an in-house calibration workshop;
• ongoing checking of all machining operations being carried out on machine tools at every stage by operators;
• batch testing after each machining step;
• recording and filing all checkings made;
